Prepare to be shocked. He may be moved, but he may not be. One thing is guaranteed, if he is moved, we will all celebrate the return. I'm not showing favoritism nor hate for him. He's a good player with phenomenal tools. I'm friends with an OHL scout and he told me exactly what the consensus is about Myers. I think Max said something along these lines the other day. He has a lot of value. More than you'd think.

I'm not totally sold on this. It wouldn't shock me if the return was below what people are expecting. Murray may consider it a win, but some of us will be left scratching our heads.

He needs 7 more games or he turns into a pumpkin (UFA) at the end of the season.

You Move Myers for Hanifin, and your top 3 is all under 20 years old. TO me that is asking too much for 3 young guys to do without any vet help.

i am fine with playing hackett enough the rest of the season to see what we have.. but i don't think he is the answer and he has injury issues now.. unless he thinks it is all good

Huge boost to an AWFUL PPer if years are right id be ok..with samson and Mceichel he provide a huge relief on keeping the pressue off them in early years

He's got the best shot attempt against of any defensemen on the caps. He'd be great for the powerplay

I don't see why we would be interested in a guy like this. He has been on the decline for quite a while and never did return to his old form. We probably won't be ready to compete on the big stage for two or three more years. I'd rather have a guy like Martin for similar money.
