I'm not so sure about that. My guess is, having not heard/read any interviews, is that he understands his place right now and why he's in the AHL. I would hope he'd be able to understand that the best bet would be that he remains there at least for a portion of 15/16, if not the bulk/all of it still, as the Sabres will still be pretty crappy. - stashu

One more reason why I think Nolan needs to be removed from head coach after this season.
You have to find a coach that will give this kid a chance playing with 2 other NHL players that have top 6 skill and a desire to work hard each shift.
Something Ruff, RR and Nolan have not done - homiedclown
That's what has confused me. The one thing Nolan did do when he first came here, and it was really the only thing I gave him credit for, was that he did put players with guys, and in positions, to do what they do best. Then he stopped.
After these deadline moves i wonder which line Matty (franking) Ellis is on? Hahahaa at this rate him and kaleta will be on pp2 and making andrew peters dream come true

I think jr is jealous of him.
He eats good. - cabin
No players like him are annoying they have all the talent in the world and just waste it and are ok with being just " ok " to "good" when you could be great
if he went training with gray roberts he could be the next todd bertuzzi etc ..
he will just be a guy that will collect his money and play when he wants to AKA .. chris stewart , drew stafford those types

If we move most of these guys out at the deadline we sure will have a lot of picks, I hope we can turn some into NHL players. - SABRES 89
In that Murray interview last week, he mentioned that some teams will be in trouble if the cap doesn't go up and will have to unload players.
If that happens, it's puts the Sabres in a really nice spot helping teams shed salary for picks. hoping that's what happens.
