Rocco Grimaldi and a 2nd.

Panthers fans think I'm nuts... but I would kill to see Jagr playing next to Barkov for just one season.

No just 42 year old washed up 3rd liners
- jake24242

Where did you get this info from? Haven't heard he was a third liner? Or washed up I've rarely seen him not controlling the play against the leagues best and I could see how that alone would be worth something to a team. If jagr has the puck the other team will have a hard time scoring no ?

When your good you don't need to be fast because guess what you control the pace of the game when you have the puck.

Eklund says that the Lightning are in on him. As talented as he is, I think our most pressing need it D. I'd love Larsson, but I don't think they'll move him and if they do it will cost the earth.

In honestly LOU is a tricky (frank)er I wouldn't be shocked if he kept jags around and we have all heard jagr say he likes it here as he gets to play in any situation he wants. We let him pursue all of gretzkys records where as most other teams will put him in a spot to bolster their third line when the guy would excel on any elite teams second line possibly first if he clicked right away with the linemates. So there is no reason for the guy to leave other the. We need prospects and picks.

you guys have what, two forwards under 29 years old? I'd say that's a rather substantial reason to move him for what you can, while you can. You arent a playoff team for a couple years anyway, move him to try and expedite that a little.

And i think hes maybe a second line player on less than half the playoff teams. Hes on your first line with scott gomez for Christ's sake. Its a totally different level of hockey. Theyre playing well yeah, but big fish, smallest pond ever

While your team has some excellent young players, I don't see them making the playoffs this season. I don't think they s/b buyers this yr.

youre not watching close enough then, because they have a very good chance of mak8ng the playoffs, with games in hand on the capitals

It's certainly not over, but they have quite a bit of ground to make up. They'd need to make a push sooner rather than later if htey want to be buyers.

Finishing 9th wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, it would be quite a stride to take considering they've been a poor team for so long.

They've got a ton of young players that are going to be fantastic.

Bjugstad is the one who always impresses me when ever I catch one of their games.

ANd now Ekblad too.

They have a tough stretch of games coming up, so we will see. I think Washington is a better team this year.

Besides being 42, this would be the 3rd time he goes at the deadline to a playoff team. He has played more games over the past couple years than most other players he'll see in the playoffs. More wear and tear on another long season - I feel a 2nd round plus a AHL player should make the devils fortunate.

I love watching Jagr play and he still is a good player but he has slipped from last yr. He takes too many penalties and lack of speed causes D problems.

He needs to be paired with a good defensive Center.

That would actually be a really great move the Panthers.

Not sure if they'd pay that exact price, but bringing in Jagr to play with Barkov could do wonders for Barkov's confidence and offensive game.

Jagr has played his best with Devils when paired with Zajac who is a good defensive Center.

He started out well with Gomez but last game they were split because they both have defensive flaws.

While seeing many Canadian games I think Pacorietty-Plekanec-Jagr might work?

Both Pacioretty and Plekanec play on the pk. I think that would be a very good line.

Ok so the points jagr collects don't go towards his point totals ? I'm not sure what part of what I said is untrue. I never said they where attainable but that is what he likes to do is pursue any records he is in reach of and he brings up Gretzky when talking about it so it's not "Devils fans for yea". Also who is the total dummy saying that because a player plays on the top line of a poop team he wouldn't be able to play on a top line of a top team? Like wtf ???? He still thinks tha game at a higher level then almost anyone and like I said earlier when you have the puck you control the speed of the game so him being slow is totally different then if phil kessel where to be slow.
