I'd take him on our top six over Higgins, but that's not really my point. He was a throw in on a bad trade and less then half a season after the trade his value was way higher. You could point to any player that I listed above and say the circumstances were this or that, or in Gillis speak: "the landscape changed", but taken together that's a lot of value going out and too little coming in.
