I'm sure we could lure Kyle Calder out of retirement, send Bollig to the ECHL... even deal

After a quick look, from Jan 3rd of last year and on, we were 21-20-1 (before hand 14-20-6, which gives us the record of 35-40-7) Adding this season (28-20-3), we'd be around 49-40-4.

I love seeing the improvement. The last two years we had these nasty losing streaks in December, but afterwards was decent. Hopefully we can continue this hot streak as of late!

Ok I did some research too

The Flames are 43-32-3 in the past calender year....if you extrapolate this through the rest of this season you will get a record for the remaining games of about 17-13-1 which gives us 35 more point for the ROS. Our total would then be 94 points.....might have to squeak out 1 or 2 more extra wins to make the playoffs

The last time I went to a Sharks vs. Flames game at the dome it was the start of an 8 game losing streak.....i'll stay away tonight!

Last time I went to a Flames/Sharks game, I met my future wife and she was doing straight vodka shots out of red solo cups...
My kids going with me (and my now current wife). Just busted my kid for some nasty poop he was getting into online so I need a good night out with him and his old man is less crusty when the Flames win...

Nah I think Bollig plays the 4th line better than some retiree. Plus the game has changed quite a bit in the last few years.

Dude. Bigern, FlamesFan, monymony, Iggys, whoever you are... stop suggesting we pick up retired players man. That never works. Besides if every team went and traded their bottom six players and bottom pairing players they'd never have those guys step up to score the Stanley Cup goals.

Well here's to hoping Todd McLellan does all sorts of funky line combos tonight. I never like the odds when we face the team that just lost to the Oilers, even if this is not the same sharks team from years past.
