Why can't he be that top 6/3 guy though? Him with McEichel/Reinhart would be great. - Herzeleid
No one is saying that he can't.
It's a numbers game and he's most likely going to be in the AHL again next year. He will be the 1st to be shipped out as I don't see him as someone Murray has any loyalty to. He's on the shortest lease if you will. |

Right but Gringo is either here or traded as I highly doubt he clears waivers.
McEichel and Reinhart will make it to tough to send to AHL/Jrs.
The rest of that roster has NHL contracts for next year. Someone needs to get shipped out to bring any vet in.
It's a numbers game based on contracts. - dadeadhead
Seen this twice now. He doesn't need to clear waivers to go up, only if he gets sent down. |

The guy would score 15 goals with a decent offensive team.
Flying in the zone by himself and no one sees him - sbroads24
Plan is to have that offensive team with the prospects we have coming in next year and year after. All is well |

I disagree with these notions on armia. While the numbers game may be true, dependent on drafting mcdavid or eichel we will be loaded with talent and potential up the middle. While I dont get to see armia enough to have a real opinion on him, id think him being at the top of a very thin pool of talent on the wings is something murray needs to be taking into consideration. |

The thing that bothers me about that is we need a pure goal scorer. He really is the only guy in the pipe I think that has the highest potential for that. |

Don't worry that one won't be, it's pretty big for every sport out there and has been around for awhile. |

I took that as, if we play gringo, we better be sure because theres no sending him back down this time...meaning next season. |

Really think we will see him by seasons end and if he puts up points, will see him more next season than less. |

He needs to clear waivers next year if he gets sent down. Even though he is coming off his ELC, he needs to clear to be sent down next year. He's hit his gp based on his playing time at age 18 and 19. It's a rule most don't qualify for. |

Armia could be that guy, or not.
But if you could trade for someone who already is that guy would you not consider it? - Sabresfan-365
He'd have to be a pretty high end top 6 guy. Armia has too much upside to trade for just a top4/top6 guy imo. |

There should be no need to send him down. If they call up guys like Ellis to play, Grigorenko should have a permanent spot.
Besides, he doesn't have to start the season in Buffalo, he can stay in Rochester for a while |

Yotes up 1-0 on the Jackets. They are one win and a Sabres loss away from no longer needing to be monitored on the out-of-town. - Pierceme69

Why? Murray has had a lot of good things to say about Armia.
Only thing that will prevent him from being really good is nagging injuries |

At this point, I'd take just about anyone over Ray
I don't mind him when he's the #3, BC then u only get him in small doses here & there
There's gotta be somebody else we can get to do these broadcasts
I don't care if it's an ex player or not - jdfitz77

Lucky for us Darcy kept him up here to play on the 4th line for 20 games to burn a year of that ELC.
