How about those give aways on his multiple forward passes that were off the mark? Or getting pushed off the puck in the corner multiple times and losing the puck? That happens every game. One of these games I'm going to point out every missed pass, and every time he gets knocked off the puck in the corner. They aren't always as obvious I guess as the goal Calgary scored when they knocked him on his ass, took the puck and put the puck in the net.

If you're going to point out his one good play, then two can play this game.

I'm not gonna get all wrapped up in this argument, and I know u realize I don't wanna trade Myers...
But Irish does have a point

Weber plays with the same horrible forwards
And even though Myers goes up against tougher competition, he's also prob played about double the minutes as Weber

I still wouldn't trade Myers unless we get a real haul back
But u can't just dismiss what Irish is saying

Did you ever think that every missed pass isnt always the guy making the pass? The forward standing still. The forward not moving in proper lines. The forward with too much space between Myers and the opponent. Pressure. How much reaction time did he have.

Myers is playing the toughest minutes out of any defenseman on this team. Hes not getting much support. Myers was under a lot of pressure tonight from MTL early and often.

I think its hilarious out of all players on the team, Myers is the most negatively talked about.... what about Hodgson? What about Moulson? They've been BRUTAL this year. When Moulson isnt poaching goals off his linemates hard work, he hasnt provided anything. I really hope in 2-3 years he can still pot 30 goals playing an offensive role. His board play in the defensive zone is awful.

Because we have the worst assembled offense in the history of the modern era. Hard for a D man to collect points when the offensive players lack puck support, have little stick skills and dont play as a team on the attack.

I think I saw 3 or 4 dump ins on odd man rushes today.

I think pointing the finger at any one player in particular this season is just crazy. The overall roster lacks talent and that fact will cause issues with the guys that do have talent. There's just not enough of them to make the team a legit threat each game. Yes, they'll win some games here and there because as DD likes to say "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while."

There are plays made every game by every single player that leave me scratching my head trying to figure out what the hell they're doing.

Besides the lack of talent, the coaching leaves A LOT to be desired. I think that really is the biggest downfall of the team right now. I don't hate Nolan, but a coach that can actually put together a game plan might actually be helpful right about now.

Not on here, the Myers Mouse Fan Club would defend him with the first post. There are more people on here who stick up for the guy then on the Sabres when he gets knocked on his ass..repeatedly like tonight. That why people have to preface their posts with. "I don't want to start trouble but" when they say anything negative about him, or if the Sabres might think about trading him.
