Cody has been on the powerplay much this season. 9 of his 20 from last season came from the PP. Nolan is not at all helping him get better. He sees he doesn't play like the 90s sabres team and so he cuts his time on the pp and puts him on the bottom lines.

I loved Steve Bernier for a period and a half. When he started to stink up the joint I no longer liked him. What's worng with that?

Vanek could take a guy off the puck, score and actually back checked contrary to popular belief. Buts most importantly, he scored.

I wouldn't be too quick to pull the buyout on CoHo.

I am no means a fan of him this season and there are times he drove me crazy last year.

I think he is who he is. Take away this year he is a meant to play the wing on a 2nd or 3rd line. He isn't being utilized correctly. I mean yesterday was the first time in a while he wasn't playing on the 4th line and had a decent line and he played pretty well considering.

He is still young. If you can trade him to open up space with knowing you are taking on a contract (like Mike Richards) then I am okay with that but to buy him out now would be a waste. Leino showed nothing when he was here CoHo at least produced. Either trade him for something or wait for a real coach to play him on a real line. I wouldn't lose him for nothing.

It pains me to say it because I liked the idea of Nolan back to develop the youth and change the culture but he looks lost.

Whats wrong with that his Cody had a much larger amount of success. He actually put up numbers last season on a historically bad team.

One bad season and the guy is thrown to the wolves and people are begging murray to buy him out. We gave Leino three damn seasons. We gave Stafford his whole contract

I was comparing his stats here to Bernier's... Codys success is that he hit 20 goals last season and would have the prior season if it wasnt for a lockout. This team lacks scoring big time. I just don't get why a guy who has proven to score in the past is number one on some peoples list to get out of here.
