I was thinking the same. I am no fan of the current Richards but I would take him and his bad contract every day of the week over Coho and his contract.

He brings zero to the table at the moment and you're claiming a guy with 4years and 19 million still owed. If he's not on your top line, he's essentially useless.

Just plain dumb to think he would not be claimed . That contract with a 70 million cap is not near as bad as many claim . He will not be waived or bought out . They will try and rehabilitate him in the off season raise his value and move him next year. As bad as he has played this year . He is young, does have skills and they will try and turn him into a tradable asset.
