I'm trying very hard to find a way around it, but I can't see this being anything other than very ugly for the Sabres tonight. I think Enroth gives up at least 4.

Well you are making me look into it again! Thanks!

Just nervous, cause I dont mind my vision with contacts in, but also way too lazy to get it done. lol

I had the Blade-less surgery in 2010... Best $5K I ever spent. I'm sure it's cheaper now.
Still see perfectly. Took about 10 minutes, if that. They give you Valium to relax you. The weird part is when the first machine sucks your eyeball out of your head...

JK it kinda holds it in place with some sort of suction and the laser cuts it.
Then they move you to the other machine which is still basically the same machine, they just slide you over. That's when the laser works its magic.

Waking up in the morning and being able to see the alarm clock for the first time in 28 years was amazing...

Regarding eye surgery, is there a threshold on how bad your eyes have to be to return them to 20/20? My eyes are bad and I feel I'd still need contacts after surgery. My contact prescription is -5.25 in both eyes. Practically blind.

I believe they can do up to -9 these days.

They did a girl who was -5 in each eye at the open house I went to earlier this month. She couldn't believe the difference just in the few mins after her surgery. Even though it looks like you're under water, she said she could see things further way clearer than she could without her glasses before the surgery.

Mine are only a -2.25, so I'm not as blind as you, though I have a 2.25 astigmatism in each eye as well.

That's where I'm going on Thursday. Dr. Endl is doing my surgery. A friend of mine had hers done 3 weeks ago and had Dr. Elmer. Any of the 3 surgeons there are awesome.

its nothing. doesn't hurt at all, just feels weird. It feels like you have an eyelash on your eye after the anesthetic wears off. The night halos lasted about a month.

I'm having the all laser lasik done, so I'm hoping to not really get the halos, as they're supposed to be less likely with the all laser. The friend that just had hers done hasn't had any issues with that at night, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'm the same.

I believe you will still get them... Mine was all done by lasers and it took awhile for the halos to go away.

Ted Nolan is encouraging the Sabres who are trade candidates to "make it happen" with fine play. "Maybe somebody will see you and want you."

Per Vogl at BN.

If I'm Terry, and this is accurate, the Sabres are looking for a new head coach right now.

I just saw that and don't think I have ever seen a coach ever use that tactic before except in NFL preseason games.

The Buffalo Sabres are approaching historic badness

-Coach Ted Nolan’s crew hasn’t won in regulation since Dec. 11 when the Sabres took down Calgary 4-3.

Remarkably, Buffalo is 6-1 in the shootout, meaning the team has eight regulation wins in 50 games.

The other amazing aspect of the Buffalo story is that fans have stayed with the team. The Sabres are averaging about 18,600 per game, roughly the same attendance they had last season, according to the ESPN.com attendance tracker.

Sabres fans drink a lot too. Could be a reasoning for it.

I'm stunned.

This is an unforgivable breach of loyalty and professionalism.

Should be used to it watching this team treat us fans to such entertainment on the ice.

I'm not talking about loyalty to the fans, I'm talking about loyalty to the franchise.

The message Ted is giving the players is "if you're lucky you'll get out." This is probably absolutely true, but it can't be something the head coach is saying out loud for anyone to hear, far less somebody from the press.

I knew what you meant. Seems Ted has pretty much given up and prolly knows his days are numbered. This losing streak is too much. The winning streak pretty much made this losing streak a must. So take it or leave it. I guess.

I literally would not let him coach tonight. I would suspend him immediately and fire him effective as of the time Vogl's report is confirmed as accurate.

IMO and my opinion only, The goal was to get the 1st or 2nd pick and even I thought they wouldn't tank but it's happening. Everyone on here wanted that pick but people keep complaining that the team stinks, the coach stinks, we can't compete, we have little talent, why can't they put good games together,it's Myers , it's Moulson, it's Hodgson, it's Stewart. all kinds of stuff back and fourth.

I can't understand why some are mad at what is going on, this is what everyone wanted was to SUCK and they do. We are last in the league, we can't score, can't stop a puck, can't stop a rush coming in the zone, can't pass..... it's perfect.

But people still complain and want players gone and Nolan fired ( I want ceratin players gone) We can't win games, score, and still draft 1st or 2nd, it won't happen. Why people are still unhappy is beyond me, who cares how they play or the effort they give, we want the pick that is the GOAL and nothing else.

Good points. I think the way Nolan is alienating the players is totally not the right thing to do, even if they are UFAs. I think everyone wants to lose, it's just the way they are doing it. The place is becoming toxic and not good for the young players on this team.

It shouldn't matter one bit how we lose just as long as we do, did anyone think that Nolan is basically telling players, " you don't want to be here, you don't like what's going on, have no fear your trade day is here". People don't look at like that, they look at the negative of how Nolan said it.
