They should let the guy play. Must be off ice issues. |

I would say so. What do they want for him, anyway? |

would only make sense if they were trying to trade him. He was noticable in the ANA and BUF games before this string of healthy scratches. Why not boost his trade value, much like they did with Hodgson, instead of tarnishing it further?

Kassian should take a place on the second line for 5+ games. 15m a night. Just let the retard play. If in the last 2 games he isn't engaged ship him for a top prospect or get picks and call it.
We are so bad against good teams that it is hard to watch. If kassian can play well on the second line - things change. more space for that line . Match ups are better for 3rd and 4th
Can't say I miss BXA, just need to get rid of pizza |

He did get a some better minutes and line-mates in Anh and Buf, where he played okay, took a really dumb penalty but was engaged and produced some offense, He then was put back in the press box.
I doubt he gets any more opportunities and this organizations has likely decided to move on from him. Be prepared for a disappointing return followed by the sentiment that any return was good to get rid of a cancer in the locker room. |

Weise can skate but that's where it ends...career 4 th liner.
Only reason Weise has had some mild success in the East is just that...it's the East where it's wide open after the top 4 and it's a much weaker conference.
When Weise was here playing STL, CHI, ANA, SJ, LA, and the bigger bodied mobile clubs of the west every other night he was completely and utterly useless.
I would do Kassian for Eller though...

He'll most likely be packaged up so the return shouldn't be awful...but it won't be quite what he is worth potential-wise either.

2 games is nothing. And any big guy is going to take a "dumb" penalty. The problem is we have all these pretty boys around who want to be savvy like the sedins. I admit the guy is not captain material, perhaps even into substances, but aren't we equipped to sort him out, and we definitely need a player like what he could be. Shipping him 2 years early IMo |

I honestly can't see Benning shipping all 3 of those guys in a bundle. If Kassian is traded most likely it'll be on his own. And if he's traded on his own most likely it'll have to be like-for-like - ie for a guy that also has promise but also might need a change of scenery to fulfill that promise. Expecting Kassian to bring back a budding star or an already accomplished player is wishful thinking IMO. |

Buff is a unique player in this league. Trading for him will cost us. |

I would trade kassian for weise and I'm not kidding
Only issue with the trade for kassian is Hodgson and Schneider got traded around a year ish apart. What do you thin vancouver could have got for kassian and Hodgson together at that point wow[url] |
