Too soon - LeftCoaster
And your thoughts on the call? Even though it wouldn't of got to that point without that incredibly fluky catch... |

Lack getting no goal support once again. No wonder people don't think he is a starter - VANTEL
It's more the fact that he has a lower sv% and higher GAA than the starters as well as a losing record vs a winning record despite the lesser workload. |

Can you blame him for either goal? Should be 3-1 or 4-1 now |

I've seen Luongo blamed for better goals. Goalies are paid to make saves and win games. |

First goal was really weak. 2nd was a slow reaction to the only possible pass. |

breakaway and a guy left all alone infront of the net on a broken fluke play.
he's played well enough. Offense has produced 1 goal.... |

Bullpoop!! We're out shooting them 25-19 and have had some good scoring chances; Pavlec is playing well .960 sv% to Lacks .895 |

Is this upcoming draft considered particularly deep? |

Yup . I think if he played for a team that was not so offensively challenged, he would have a decent record |

Luongo did twice in the finals, yet we chased him out of town. Who cares about his last start, way easier to be focused. |

That's not what we/you were talking about. I disagree the score would be 3 or 4 to 1 if it weren't for Lack (your words). Pavlec has been better than Lack end of story.
I do agree it's hard to win when you have and offensively challenged team though, however, were not talking about wins and loses but rather a single player doing his job. Which in my opinion Lack isn't as good as fans make him out to be. |

Luongo also let 11 shot go in from behind the redline in those same playoffs . He also got beat out of his job two years in a row by his understudy |

Agreed. Career backup most likely if not low end starter. Much better off to move him if we can and groom Markstrom |

So he is being blamed for stopping only two of the three breakaways that Hamhuis caused and a defensive breakdown that led to a shot from a guy left alone in front of the net , and then you praise Pavelec for stopping a shot off Higgins on an open net where he shoots it into the goalies logo. |
