Botch is a poop disturber, I would take anything he says with a grain of salt. That said, Lu was a prima donna and carries some of the burden for why the goalie fiasco went down the way it did

I'm glad those dorks in TO didn't get luongo. He would have made them playoff contenders. I like the leafs just the way they are; perennial losers.

And it makes Benning look kinda stupid, since he didn't want to give him multi-year contract in the first place. Starting to really question this management/coaching for the first time with how Kassian's being scratched after two decent games and now apparent interest in trading for a guy they just let walk and is a 29 year old pending UFA....

I'm with you on Kassian though...unless he is having party or drug issues, he should play after his last two games. We don't really know whats going on behind the scenes but this is a head scratcher if you try and make sense out of it.

LU gets beat out of a job ( actually twice) sulks and doesn't want to be here anymore.

No market for his skills or contract and he has only one option which he Veto seeing it is not Florida.

GMS decides screw it I will move the other guy at least I can move him and get a decent return. Something he could not do with LU.

Owner flies down to calm him down and come back to Vancoutver he will be the starter again.

LU shuts down and talks to no one publicly for three months

Canucks don't know if LU is coming back because his feelings are still hurt .

GMS tells him come back , grow up if he wants to get paid.

Comes back as starter nd again loses job to back up.

Then demands a trade when he is sat at the Winter Clssic.

The GM told him I've tried to move you but no one wants you. Tell your agent to find a trade.

Agent finds the only team that LU would accept a trade to if Canucks retained salary.

Speaking of 18 wheelers... I was at the game tonight and boy that Wheeler kid was noticeable. He was everywhere. Like to see a canuck drive the net like he was. All the jets seemed to get to the net with ease. Big team.

Nice to watch true power forwards at work.

Gillis was a POS who threw players under the bus to try and justify his own F ups and Torts put in one of the worst coaching performances that I have ever seen. I put zero stock into anything that either of them had to say.
