Agreed, hell even having no captain and just 3 alternates would have been better... Luongo clearly isn't the toughest guy mentally either when he and/or the team was struggling so that was not a good decision. Willie Mitchell was the guy who was captain material on that team IMO.

That's not true he drives the net very well and uses his size to protect the puck. He isn't a physical player but he is the only guy we have who can play a power game. Reminds me of a very defensively responsible David Booth with better finish
