Now that I think about it :

GUARANTEED that at the VERY moment Ali Krev left the Homan rink to "go live with her boyfriend in Sweden", she already had a firm offer from Jones and had decided to join her.
But she had to let some time pass as to make it all less suspicious.

What do you guys think of my theory?

ok, dug up a bit more info on this.

I did find it strange that Jones played the tour challenge without Dawn McEwen as lead but I didn't read too much into it. It turns out she just had a baby so she's taking some time away from the team.

My guess is they're looking for some high end local curlers where they end up either becasue nobody wants to take the full-time gig knowing McEwen will be back or it could be as simple as to save on travel costs.

Pretty sure right now in Sweden Ali Krev is right at the top in terms of women curlers and they probably know her very well but it will be interesting to see how she fares as lead since she was second for Homan for about 12 years.

My guess is that it's a one-off and I'm hoping it was discussed with Team Homan prior to being publicly announced.

This has now become THE match to watch at this tourney, along with the rematch against Tirinzoni.

highly likely that halfway through the tournament she "accidentally" drops a stone on Jones' foot.



meanwhile though, we must ask ourselves if BingoLady's heart can survive the sight of Ali Krev and K-Lawes on the same team.
