I would think Milbury is the worst in the last 30 years. I would think that any GM can be killed for trading a pick that became some great player. Trading the actual player is far worse.

Interesting take by Jerry Sullivan this morning in The News: The Sabres should do right by Ted Nolan by firing him. I think the premise is flawed: Nolan came in with LaFontaine and Murray did end up inheriting him. However, both men came to an agreement on a new contract after that. This means that they chose each other. As several of us have repeatedly pointed out, anyone that chose to be here this year knew exactly what they were getting into.

He's a nice piece. They'll keep him for the playoff run instead of grabbing a 2nd for him.

I think he's the beneficiary of getting to play on a really good team. He essentially just took the spot that Bonino had been in last year.

If we needed a bit of secondary scoring to put us over the top, sure. It would probably be worth kicking the tires on getting a guy like that. Just don't think that type of player is a good fit right now. We have enough guys that can't create anything on their own already.

Might be hard to resign him, Ducks have limited space even though some comes off the books next year. They still look to be a couple D men down and Silverberg is an RFA.

I don't think Ryan Leaf becoming Ryan Leaf surprised anyone. The writing was all over the wall before he was drafted. But I hear what you are saying... I also worry about something going wrong. For me it is falling out of last.
