Correct.

I think the big name ufa's (if you can really call them that) will be moved but the lower end guys who have minimal to no value will probably just see the year out and walk on july 1.

Meszaros at around 2mill for the remainder of the season may be the toughest move?
Strachan for less than 300k can be had.

Stewart and Staff for around 2 mill each.
Mitchell for 1 and a quarter mill.
Ellis for less than 250k.

Now that I look at their possible cap hits to perspective teams.
Perhaps some teams may want them for "depth" reasons if they feel they are going to make a run at the Cup.

IMO as it closer to the end of the trade deadline day, he will take what he can no matter what round just to get something, I would think.

I am almost positive that we weren't holding Vanek's salary. The reports had it that the Isles had Vanek traded for a much bigger return but Wang wouldn't hold any salary so the deal was scrubbed.

Ok so IMO it will be hard to move both Goalies, I don't think anyone takes Ellis and Kaleta but since Neil said he doesn't want to traded, maybe Kaleta does go but I doubt it very much.

I think our D men might all go but I have no problem keeping Strachen if we have to. Don't know much about Bagnall

Yea dd, I left out the goalies and Bagnall.

Neuvirth could be had for less than around 1 and a quarter mill.
Enroth for around 600k .
Bagnall around the same as Ellis.
Kaleta is not a UFA until 16/17 though.

If the offer was earlier in the year wouldn't it almost require us to hold salary? If so I can see why we turned it down. I think we'd almost have to hold those options open for Stew and Staff to maximize the number of teams where they can be traded.
