What made the Sens a good team was their top line. They're very similar to the Sabres in that they don't have elite talent up front. They're a decent team, but they don't have Captain, Spezza and 50in07 any more. They replaced that with Clarke McArthur, Bobby Ryan and Kyle Turris. They have a great second line and Erik Karlsson and they have upcoming quality talent (from the aformentioned Murray) from the BSens. But no first line talent, which tells me they belong exactly where they are in the standings and won't improve until they have top line talent.

Then ask NYI, Chi, LA, PIT how it feels to lose for 2-3 years and and then start winning.

It's like people have no clue....

To be fair, if any other fan base had been on the ride we've been on as Buffalo fans for any of our teams, there wouldn't be anything to female dog about. The teams would have folded, packed up and moved. We've been pretty loyal.

I think there are other things that can happen, unrelated to losing, that do justify change. Disloyalty is one of them.

Fine , gut it out and make changes in the off season . No one here never played hurt I guess. Could not deal with the pain , have intestinal fortitude or the needles needed to do it. I did . , maybe I regret it a bit now as my body is breaking down. But I did for the team and felt I owed it to my teammates. Making changes right now is like pouring perfume on a pig. Deal with the pain now with what it could mean for the future.
