Most do, Before i saw the chart i don't think winnipeg was even on my list of guesses. - Sabresfan-365
Could it just be Kane hates the Winnipeg area and is purposely playing his way out? |

Hahaha
The good thing about trading for him is that it won't cost what you'd normally have to pay for a young kid with his talent |

He doesn't have a say where he gets traded though.
The Jets will take the best offer.
Having a guy like Stafford or Stewart they could plug in gives us an advantage. And having multiple late 1sts are easier for us to move then a team that only has one, esp if it's a lottery pick like say the Leafs |

Nolan should be fired right after the last whistle of the Sabres season. The guy is a horrible coach. Definitely not suited for the "NEW NHL." We do not have or want a team that Nolan wants. He wants a team full of vets and 3rd liners. One thing is for sure he will ruin Reinhart and McEichel and whatever other rookies he can get his hands on. He is not a coach we should be looking at for next season. Murray surely hasn't given him a good team to deal with. But he has given him a team that doesn't lose 14 in a row, scores more than a goal a game, and our special teams have been a mess. I still don't know why people from Buffalo are attached at the hip to this guy. He had one LUCKY season, since then it has been nothing but downhill for this guy. He's a horrible coach. Nolan and his entire staff along with him have to be let go in the summer. |

yeah, but if he's just going to keep up the same routine to get out of here, whats the point? Now we're holding a A-hole with even LESS trade value because the problem would be confirmed at that point. Then he truly does get traded for a bag of pucks and "future considerations." |

I totally get why ppl would be concerned. It makes sense.
I guess we'll have to wait & see if Murray thinks he's with the risk?
If his head's on straight, idk if there's a more perfect winger to play with McDavid next year.
He's got the speed to keep up with him. Is a good goal scorer. And u gotta like his gritty, power forward style of play.
Obv none of that matters if he's acting like a jackass though |

Not trying to start a fight here, but don't you think Stewart is basically the same thing minus the attitude? I kind of feel like, why not just sign him, show him some faith and hope for the best? Give him 3 years/what ever Kane is making. The term could be an issue for him, but at least he has a home for 3 years if he plays to his potential.....

True. It's obv a risk.
For me, he seems like a kid that just hates it in Winnipeg.
I've been on the fence for a while about him BC of his attitude, so I def get your concerns.
Playing through all these injuries has really win me over though. Seems to me that he's actually growing up.
I think there's just too much baggage with the Jets & he needs to move on. |

Speed and potential are the 2 biggest factors between the two. if the price is right it's hard not to try |

I think Kane is much faster. Also he's 23, so he could be here for 10years.
Also, does Stewart want to be here? Does Murray want him? Tgeres a reason he hasn't been extended yet.
And I think Kane had more upside than Stewart even though they admittedly have similar styles of play.
Just my opinion though
I can def see why some wouldn't want to take the risk |

Evander Kane reportedly skipped Tuesday's game against Vancouver after he was involved in an altercation with Dustin Byfuglien and other teammates.
According to multiple sources familiar with the situation, Kane was not on the team's bus and he missed a pregame meeting. He later told the Jets that he wouldn't be playing against Vancouver after several unsuccessful attempts to reach him. Kane did wear a track suit earlier in the day to a team meeting and sources say that Byfuglien threw those clothes into the shower to send a message to his teammate. Kane didn't meet up with his teammates again until the flight out of Vancouver. This situation with Kane just got much more complicated and other reports have indicated that Winnipeg has been talking with several teams about the possibility of trading the 23-year-old winger.

I honestly can say I can count on one hand the games I have watched Kane play. So, im only comparing them based on others description. A power forward with speed is much better than one without.

Ya, I saw that
Obv I agree with u, but I do understand why some wouldn't take the risk...
The real question is...
Does Murray think he's worth the risk and the price to get him? |

Nut job and all but, Kane is the kind of player they are looking for. Sometimes players are better in a different situation, he's to talented not to inquire about. |
