Great article here from Mckenzie lays out the whole situation
http://www.tsn.ca/more-qu...-kane-jets-drama-1.200583 - jdfitz77
I seen him here the first time when he posted the first picture with all the money, he's a little " different " I know that but we have pieces to give the Jets without moving the ever so popular Myers. But I wouldn't get into a bidding war with the Leafs over him. |

We don't need players like him in the locker room
He is a Richard and will always be one

Read the Mckenzie article I posted
He came back from an mcl sprain early, is playing with TWO fractures in different parts of his body... PLUS, an undisclosed injury that's he's postponing surgery on so he can stay in the lineup
He's not the most mature kid out there,
But that shows dedication to me
And signs that he's growing up |

I honestly can say I can count on one hand the games I have watched Kane play. So, im only comparing them based on others description. A power forward with speed is much better than one without. - seedy
He's really more of a sniper than anything but i feel the fact he fights and will throw the body makes us assume hes a power forward. Even tho i feel he has more upside he's like a wayne simmonds, someone that is solid offensive treat but can still play physical when needed |

Mckenzie mentioned yesterday before the Rangers and Bruins game, people overreact, just because he was a scratch doesn't mean he's on the block. He mentioned all the injuries he has but said people look past that because they think the Jets want him gone. |

Ya, I saw that
Obv I agree with u, but I do understand why some wouldn't take the risk...
The real question is...
Does Murray think he's worth the risk and the price to get him? - jdfitz77
If perrons a late first .. I think he's around a staff/stew One of our two last 1st. maybe our second(basically a late first) maybe mid range prospect |

I don't think the Leafs will want to trade their lottery pick, so us having the NyI & StL 1sts gives us a big advantage. Also, we have a much better group of prospects than the Leafs.
Those two points actually gives us an advantage over just about every team out there that would want to acquire him.
If Murray wants him, I think the deal makes sense for both teams |

I agree with you but never count out the Leafs to do something stupid, Finger, Clarkson. Just to name a few. |

More info came out today though
It now seems that the Kets are actively shopping him
Read that Mckenzie article I posted. The audio is interesting as well. |

Good comparison.
Kane is much faster though. He's a very good skater |

The team I'm most worried that might be able to outbid us is the Oilers
They could offer Yakupov + the 1st they got from Pitt
Does Winnipeg like Yakupov though? |

There are other teams that have better pieces that would help them win in the next 3-4 years. IMO anyways |

I guess if Winnipeg really like Kadri then a deal with the Leafs is possible.
Is Kadri, a 2nd, & a prospect enough though?
I'd say we could come up with a better package than that
Good point though. If the Leafs really think he's a guy they can build around, they might go all in for him. They prob need to make a big move like this too |

Also why I think we'd have to give them an almost nhl ready prospect like Grigorenko |

I just want a top 5 pick. Which it looks like that's what we are going to get. A team has to be lucky to get Mcdavid. Even for you guys if you get last place it's only 20 percent chance you get Mcdavid. So it's a dream to get him for anybody. Echiel looks pretty good too. |

We don't disagree much.
I'd love to get Kane, assuming the price is reasonable |
