I do not want a young goalie prospect in return. They dont hold much value in trades, IMO.

I would target pieces Ritchie, Vaatenen, 1st. (not saying all 3 for Myers)

Absolutely I do.

I see Myers as a more valuable asset than Bobby Ryan (his name proceeds his value).. and he cost a mid 1st, a quality prospect and an upper mid prospect. And we have no need to move Myers. That increases his value even further. Anaheims picks are in the range of high 20, high 50 and a prospect. Yeah, you're damn right I think we get that back.

Lindholm is a non starter for Ana IMO. He plays a huge role for them

I don't think they'd part with anyone who is integral to their nhl team. They might move someone for cap reasons so my best guess would be an okay roster player + prospect + pick.

I don't think he'll get what most sabres fans are dreaming of, that i can agree on. But if the best they can do is a 1st and 3rd line player he's better off just keeping myers and seeing what he can do when the team is semi-good.

On a good team in the right system he'd be twice the player he is now. IMO he doesn't get moved. And I'm okay with that.

Andrew Macdonald played like 26 mins a night for the islanders last year. Playing a lot of minutes on a bad team doesnt mean a defenseman is automatically elite.

It's just my opinion and as I said, I think we will be finding out what his market value is shortly because I have a gut that he is going to be moved for the betterment of this franchise moving forward.

You may be right with what you feel we can get back, i'm not so sure.
But, a team that feels that they can go deep may certainly overpay for Myers.
Time will tell.

That's not what this is about at all.

It's a matter of opinion.

And I feel some of you over value him, and that's just this guys opinion.

That's not to say that some brain dead GM may indeed over pay for him however.
