Unless Benning is only going to give a 1 year contract, yes they will want more. Contracts for term also take into account improving. They will also likely want a contract for 2-3 years each which means Benning needs to pay a little more. Right now maybe worth 1mil but next year probably 1.5mil and maybe 2.5 after that is their value. So if for 3 years would probably be 1.75 each.
