Nothing this team could get in the trade market could possibly help this teams scoring problems.
Hopefully Benning realizes this and doesn't make any snap decisions.

But seriously, Vrbata has been invisible every game that he has not played on the Sedin line. |

But not going to lie. Thats pretty damn good. A guy who hits that much and can skate and put the puck in the back of the net I want him on our team. But it has to be reasonable.
Hard to fathom getting him without getting one of our top prospects. Should that be the case. Fukk it. I'd rather just roll with what we have.
I truly wonder what kinda of value the Sedins have. I'd be open to letting them go should we get fair return. But also think they've given so much to this city, And put up with so much BS that they deserve to retire canucks. And frankly, as much on the downward they are..... I hope they do.
By the time the next flurry of young guys are going to make an impact, should be approximately when their contract is up.
So play this contract out, dont rush anyone **cough** OILERS **cough** and let our boys develop in the AHL as they should.
We cant possibly be contenders for what I would think 5 years...... Might aswell have the vets molding the young guys instead of having a bunch of twelve year olds running around like idiots like they have in Edmonton. |

I think you would be shocked how little they would get back in a trade.

I think that the Sedins are untradeable, for all sorts of reasons, not the least if which is their combined cap hit and the fact that they are a package deal.

okay. Real question is. Would they accept to go elsewhere (not with eachother) If they had a chance to win the cup.
And I would think Hank has more up-factor than Danny. |

It seems like thats set in stone. But do you really think if one or the other had a chance to split in order to win the ultimate hockey prize they'd give a kiss to there brother and say peace?

No, I don't.
I almost wish they would, I would love to see them raise the cup and I don't think that's gonna happen with the Canucks. |

Preview to the playoffs - VANTEL
If it's a typical San Jose playoff series then we should be starting the comeback right about now. |
