If I got paid millions to play hockey in the NHL on a decent team, I'd be fine with it. Blake Wheeler, Brian Little, Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Ladd seem fine with it.

I wanted the Canucks to trade for him as bad as anyone, but Kane has some serious attitude problems. I was fine with the partying and being a cocky douche, hell even a heated argument with the coach who's sing him as a 3rd liner would have been okay. But to fight with teammates over a stupid reason like that is a major red flag.

Fair enough, but I think if the price was right, he would be worth adding to this team. Lots of guys with perceived attitude problems go on to be solid contributors either for their current team or another one. He likely owns the lion's share of the blame for this recent drama, and only the people in that organization know what went on. That said If Buff actually did throw his poop in the shower he deserves some blame for being a catalyst as well. That move doesn't exactly scream professional either.

They don't "need" to move him, unless the right deal is there you put up with his maturity level until it improves. When I played we had player vs player issues all the time, which I'm told by friends who played in the NHL it's no different. Difference being the NHL didn't have social media or current levels of media exposure back then.

Love to see him play for the Canucks though.
