But he very well might be the first player on the jets under Maurice. You can make all the whiny excuses you want but no reason a guy making 5.25 mill can't follow a rather simple rule that Walmart employees can figure out

I don't know why everyone is so interested, he is not coming here.

I'd be very happy with 4.5 X 5 yrs
- A_SteamingLombardi

Same. 4M would be a steal IMO and 4.5 is still really good value.

Gillis was more likely to acquire him than Benning IMO.

Definition of a Gillis target:

1) Was obsessed with toughness/size since the BOS SCF
2) Kane had strong Corsi numbers
3) Kane's having an "unlucky" season and being underutilized in Winnipeg according to fancy stats.

Basically the player he was hoping he was getting in David Booth.

Because I would rather talk about Kane than any player on the canucks. Far more interesting.

There only so much a man can take talking about Higgins, Hansen, and Sbisa over and over again.

Watching video of full games is nearly as good as watching him live. The smarter teams lock guys up before the price rises even higher. Montreal (frank)ed up with Subban like that too(not saying Tanev is nearly as good, just that waiting an extra year likely cost them 1M+ per season of cap space).

Kane wore a track suit to the arena rather then a suit. Which is apparently violation of the CBA. They didn't have a choice. This has been reported by numerous legit sources. Like RDS and Andy Strictland

Hmm, interesting. Is that what really occurred? if so, still seems a little archaic and over the top. Who the @#$@ cares what a player wears going to the rink, as long as its within reason. As I said, stuff like this is made into a huge medium storm when it's seemingly such a minor thing (it's not like he's showing up in dominatrix outfits, for gawd sakes)

P.S. I actually also heard that Big Buff threw all of Kane's clothes in the shower. Of course, no one can confirm either way but that was what the sports pundits were saying. You know you have REAL problems when your own players start to turn against you

Who was that New Jersey coach who used to were a sweater behind the bench. Late 80's and 90's. Looked ridiculous.

Fedoruk or something...

Found this:

On October 17, 2005, National Basketball Association commissioner David Stern announced the implementation of a mandatory dress code for all NBA and NBA Development League players. This was especially noteworthy because the NBA became the first major professional sports league to implement such a rule, although National Hockey League rules state that a player is supposed to wear a jacket and tie to games and on charters if not told otherwise by the head coach or general manager.- Wiki

I think it's great, he doesn't do it anymore since he's just a coordinator and doesn't want show up the coach

It's a nice suit but a bit too nice. It's got to be something between what you posted and this:

What a (frank)ing slob.
