I don't remember the guys name, but whoever it was that realized to plan for the width of the 401 so fart in advance through the city of TO was a genius... Edmonton has no good through route, the whitemud is okay, but its slower and can't get any wider, so as the city grows they are screwed. In TO's case theres just getting too many people now. The whole area is a mess and more and more people keep pouring in. All condos in TO and Mississauga, very few new commerce going in...

absolutely. and he's in line for a raise at the of the season... so the only logical and fair thing to do for Bernier is to send him to another team - where he can prove, one and for all, behind a defense that is not as porous as the Leafs - that he's a number one.

It's because of Trudeau, the NEP... It goes back a ways. But in modern times when all the provinces share wealth and people here see other provinces continue to spend themselves into the abyss they feel pissed off. The last premier of AB was a spender as well and people freaked out about it...

People need to educate themselves on what equalization payments really are. Sure Albertans pay more taxes, but only because they make more money. Rich people in other provinces pay the same as rich people here. How can you make 100gs plus and complain about money? I always ask my whinny alberta friends if they would rather be punching holes on paper for $11/hour? That's what I was doing before I moved over here, and I'm a trained machinist.
