There really isn't one. Sean Day, Chychryrurynr or however you spell it, Sam Steel (Sick name). Auston Matthews. - AdamFrench

That seals it, Leafs will get the first pick in that draft. |

Lindros was the most dominant and feared player in the NHL in his best years. there was no one else like him and in the mid-90s, he was the best overall player in the NHL for a time. he was labelled a generational talent and he lived up to the hype when he was healthy.
what makes him a generational player is that before he was drafted, it was said that he would be the best in the game and he lived up to that. - DoubleDown
Agreed ..he was billed as the next one....and he was for a time. HOFamer for sure |

More likely reason for Reimer starting are the ongoing struggles of Jonathan Bernier. Bernier holds an .898 save percentage since Dec. 20.

Exactly. He's not there in the records because of the injuries but he is up there in terms of being head and shoulders above the pack. - markmark
he was something else to watch.
John LeClair and Mikael Renberg sucked. Lindros had Leclair scoring 50 goals at a time when NHL goal scoring was plummeting. |

Leafs now have 11% chance of finishing third or fourth last, 70% chance of being 5th to 9th, and 19% 10th or higher. 6th or 7th most likely. |

agree i think he's a rare case where quality should trump lack of quantity. |

Big (like Ekblad which is how he got his exceptional status), skates like a dream, plays with an edge, strong offensive awareness, decent defensively with upside in that regard. Can't wait to see him at the U18's this year |

We can change that. It wouldn't be the worst move the Leafs make. |

Not quite true...when one refers to Wayne Gretzky as a generational talent. It is indeed being used correctly in relation to hockey. - iLive4theLeafs
A generation is 25 years... there's no such thing as a hockey generation unless it just got made up on the internet. |

You're right. He is also not that bad. He is an average goaltender, middle of the pack. |

I would rather say dominant in their era since an era is by its nature open to interpretation. |
