BB probably in the box tonight because we r playing a tough team to play against n a team that consistently grinds . he might break.
This $hit about Sid not wanting to play with horny and perron on the RW is absolutely absurd. Malkin plays with what hes given. If ur the best in the world u make ppl better not the other way around - Jordy8
If the Crosby stuff is true, which I know it isn't(trust me I'm smart and I know these things) it says a lot more about the coaching staff then anything. A coach who lets players no matter how good pick his linemates therefor affect the entire lineup might as well just not be there. |

Im sure 87 said, Yeah playing with PH is great and we are lighting it up but what I really want is a much slower, older, not as good at shooting, won't go to the front of the net/corners anymore version of PH to play with. |

Agreed 100. And if this is true trade sid what joke . Him and horny were killing it and now he is saying i dont like net front guys or guys who light up one timers on the LW. I dont live in Pitt but hopefully this Rossi is as big a goof as u guys say he is.
Sutter should get the box tonight. A feisty team like the flames he will be nowhere to be found |

Rossi is a joke. He makes up rumors for click bait and attention. I don't think he knows the sport that well. Reading his crap makes you wonder how him and Shelly Anderson get paid to cover something they know nothing about. Journalism! But he was fired from the Trib, I think the Pens kicked him out of the locker is the rumor I heard. |

He wasn't fired from The Trib, but yeah, I heard the same thing about the Pens booting him out of the locker room. The higher ups at the paper had to get his access back. Guy is an annoying rat, it's not hard to imagine the players wanting him out. I have never heard that about any of the other Pens beat writers.
Crosby was having his best success with Horny earlier in the year. It's hard to imagine he wasn't happy playing with him. |

Off topic, but I kind of wish the Pens could have capitalized on that deal the Leafs and Bolts just made. I know it's about as minor a move as two teams could make, but for the cost of a conditional 7th I would totally have taken those two wingers. Each has decent size and Ashton has shown he can at least contribute at the AHL level. Not a bad guy to have in the system. |

Night and day difference with the 4th line these last few games. Way more energy, much more effective foecheck, even more zone time.
Johnston is showing some trust in using them, too. |

I meant 1 of 3 posters agreeing w/me, not on 1 of 6 points in my post....
Whatver!!
Key point was/is Malkin seems to adapt with whomever he plays with. Sid seems to be more sensitive. - 87_71_11_29
Dude, it was 1 of 6 agreeing, and now its even less since that post... |

You don't agree that Sid has strange quirks? That effect his linemates? It's fact that he does. |
