WD stopped practise and chewed them a new bumhole about their lack of compete level.

In the way only the leafs can do this will soon stop. They'll win 13 of 15 to finish the season. Kessel@allinwhenitmatters

Looks like you missed it.

Didnt we get to see one of those here under Nonis. I seem to remember sitting in a East Van pub at 9 losses in a row waiting for the next loss...can remember if the streak was busted or not.

Can't imagine it was wins...

There's been a lot of discussion on Kane and some interesting tidbits.

One thing that I wanted to add is, I think Kane would in fact do better in Vancouver. Maurice is old school and isn't really suited to coach the young, up and coming, rich stars. Kane needs someone he really looks up to - and I know guys like Linden et al would be able to provide some better guidance for him going forward. I feel like he's a bit of a man on an island (don't get me wrong, he seems like quite the douche based on all the media and some of his antics but I am certain he can get his sh*t together, given he's still a young man, in the proper situation/atmosphere)

P.S. holy @#$ Phil Kessel - 3 goals in 21 games (Phil is waving to Vantel)

Phil is not my problem , it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. That being said he only has one less goal than both Sedins combined

Those are the best two IMO, just not sure which one is better? The one I mention all total'd brought us Bert and the pick (via the McCabe trade) used to select Hank, which is pretty important in our history.

Part of my concern stems from the fact that I think he would have even more distractions in Vancouver

Note the Sedins are only two points behind Kessel in overall stats - oh, and only for $8 million+

Edit: I should of clarified that EACH Sedin is only a few points behind Kessel

It could go either way, but I feel having his family here and the discipline and respect that Linen and management/coaching brings, I'm pretty confident that he would be able to mature and get his act together. I mean, think about it, how mature were we at 23!! (other than Nucker - he was born mature)

I am accurately rating him as better than all current Canucks and the best prospect in the entire league for creating a new first line around.
- Beatle_john

Kane: 22P 37GP
D Sedin: 42P 50GP
H Sedin: 42P 50GP

Vrbata has twice as many goals
Alex Edler and Chris Tanev have been excellent all year for us

I don't see how you can state that you "accurately" rated him better than all current Canucks. And to add to that, how in the hell is he the best prospect in the entire league to create a new first line around??? He is 23 and has yet to put it all together. I could list a few dozen names that I would prefer to have over Kane the same age or younger to build a first line around. Building around scoring wingers doesn't seem to be going well for many teams...
