I am 22 and just last week I took a snapchat of my drunk friend throwing tomatoes at the wall of a subway - bezz44
I appreciate what Zogg said, but I'm pretty much the same(except 21). |

In that case, you and Bezz better not be hanging around together (double the trouble) |

Stoyanov for Naslund easy best deal |

Note the Sedins are only two points behind Kessel in overall stats - oh, and only for $8 million+
Edit: I should of clarified that EACH Sedin is only a few points behind Kessel - Zogg
I would take his 20 goals over either of them and gladly pay 1 mil more |

Ok, surely this has (or perhaps always was) become a personal thing - why would you take a player who is barely ahead of the Sedins in scoring and also pay another couple million more for him. Not to mention the fact said player is mercurial, enigmatic, extremely streaky, and not exactly an intellectual colossus hockey-wise - oh, and doesn't have ANY sort of truculence which you always covet so much
Edit: by the way, it's not all about goals, someone has to set them up - Henrik and Daniel number 10 and 6 in the entire league. Not too shabby. Too bad there weren't more players that could finish (although Vrbata has done a fairly decent job) |

It could go either way, but I feel having his family here and the discipline and respect that Linen and management/coaching brings, I'm pretty confident that he would be able to mature and get his act together. I mean, think about it, how mature were we at 23!! (other than Nucker - he was born mature) - Zogg
All this same stuff happened with Pronger. Then Stanley Cup Finals started following him around. He became an incredible leader. Sometimes it takes people longer to mature but that doesn't limit how much they can mature.

Huge trade for the Leafs - walshyleafsfan
That has to great for those guys confidence.
They essentially just gave them away.
But it is actually a pretty smart move.

What would that be...getting a 7th round for 2 players, or, there saving tho 2 players the humiliation of playing for the Leafs |

Oh man, that brings back so many memories. How we all used to get in trouble hanging out talking about analytics until the sun came out. Then we'd go and make corsi graphs on actual graph paper! and would analyze those for the entire day, all whilst drinking spritzers We got into so much trouble, Jeebus! I hope you don't go down the same road we did, Bezz/Nucker - once you've done corsi your life is changed forever |

Kane: 22P 37GP
D Sedin: 42P 50GP
H Sedin: 42P 50GP
Vrbata has twice as many goals
Alex Edler and Chris Tanev have been excellent all year for us
I don't see how you can state that you "accurately" rated him better than all current Canucks. And to add to that, how in the hell is he the best prospect in the entire league to create a new first line around??? He is 23 and has yet to put it all together. I could list a few dozen names that I would prefer to have over Kane the same age or younger to build a first line around. Building around scoring wingers doesn't seem to be going well for many teams... - bezz44
Kane also playing injured all year |

If the Canucks acquire Evander Kane I will cheer for him but will be extremely irritated if he costs anywhere near as much as I expect he will. I think a lot of you guys are severely overrating him because he can hit. - bezz44
Idk what u r saying..very vague.
Idk if u know how hard it is to get scoring power forwards.
What exactly is what u expect means? |

Getting 2 contracts off the books as they are at the contract limit (50)
Ashton is a career AHL'er
Broll is a career AHL'er at best

Multiple GM's around the league believe he is contract year player.

20 goals 8 mil
10 goals 7 mil
This team needs goals and speed
Canucks have a dozen guys that can pass and only one guy that can score regularly.
It is not a personal thing BTW . I think if you polled other blogs you would probably find a 90% that would favour Kessel over Daniel Sedin |

What I expect is at least one blue chip prospect and likely a 1st round pick
For a guy that has so many question marks that is a price I would be unwilling to pay
And clearly since I am not sold on the Kassian+Higgins+Lack proposal that many have suggested then I am aware of how hard it is to get one |
