I'm just responding to what you posted. Was it completely or entirely? Or was it both?
- Bieksa#3

I'm trying to understand what *it* is since I bolded a single sentence and *both* doesn't fit the reply.

there's no way Jimbo slice gets rid of any of the prospects he drafted, especially not his first pick as GM of the Canucks. Jake is gong nowhere, and although he was GMMG's pick, same goes for Bo, he's proved to be too valuable and a consummate professional even at 19.

If a package of Shink/Lack or Markstrom/ 2016 1st rounder could get it done, then I'd be on board

As suggested in many posts, Trading Virtanen, Horvat, McCann, or this years first rounder should be out of the question.

This would never get it done!

you been hanging out with Marwood?!? you think Kassian and an effing second rounder gets Kane?!?

you're higher than giraffe wussy...

- noisewater

Then we walk. I'm only in favour of getting him if his value is low. With off ice issues and the surgery it should be low.

A '16 1st? Take a look at our team. If Kane scores 25 we still finish bottom 10 next yr.

That works too, if the Jets prefer a guy like Hansen/Higgins/Matthias. But I'm assuming they'd prefer quality over quantity so I think Kassian plus 1st or Kassian + Shinkaruk gets it done.

Also to everyone who keeps suggesting the goalie involvement, the Jets finally are getting decent goaltending this year and have a pretty good goalie prospect coming up(one of the top goalie prospects). So Lack or Markstrom would be more of a throw-in for them, if anything at all.

Even though Kane's value is surely down, there is no way Kassian and Shink gets it done.

They're not going to trade their problem child for another one....

Exactly, and realistically it will require one of them.

If that turns out to be the case and Benning pulls the trigger i'm going to throw my (frank)ing jersey in the shower

- Whiskey-Tango

Is it dirty? Throwing into the shower will only make it shiny and clean. At least then you can put on rose coloured glasses and everything in Canuck Land will be great all over again.

I voted no, I'm in agreement with a few others, no way does JB trade prospects for the likes of Kane, now if he falls to the canucks the way Kesler landed in Anahiem sure why not, otherwise he can go to California where there are plentiful of rehab resorts.

Maybe, but then you could always offer Matthias or Hansen with Shinkaruk. I just feel like the Kassian + Shinkaruk package offers them the most intriguing upside.

no no you never complained about keslers attitude. Never once.
- Bieksa#3

See, you just did it again.

I just admitted I did, but only his on ice attitude. We are talking about issues that involve other people and only one side of the story. I never heard or put much stock into any of that with Kesler.

Sorry for pointing out that the answers in the poll most likely are answering Carols question and not yours. It really got your hackles up.

Keep turning the posts around to fit you mood today... it's getting funny.

I think everyone is making a mountain out of a mole hill with the surgery business. Its 2015 medicine is effing amazing, and these guys have the kind of access to the best doctors in the world that you and I could only dream of.... you'd be hard pressed to find a player in the NHL that hasn't had a major surgery. He's young, and he'll be fine next year.

And then we whine and complain if a rival team acquires him and he turns his career around.

What photo bombing? Booner's complaints about Kesler were about his ON ICE bullpoop. What was his locker room attitude?

What's wrong with him anyways?

Throw out a hip or shoulder at the dancers? Tried doing a pushup with too much weight(cash) on his back? Buff knock him out? A crazy Lebanese restaurant owner chase him down the street? Perforated nasal septum?

The possibilities are endless.
