There are reports now coming out about bullying by Buf and someone else. Could be the reason Kane wanted out.
This story is getting layers to it.
If this has been brought up already sorry, I just got home - VANTEL
Hopefully we don't' have endure an investigation into bullying like the NFL

I just saw on tv where sportsnet said that the best place for Kane to go now is Vancouver Canucks. If he gets traded to other teams, he will probably slack off and skip games. If het gets traded back to his hometown, he'll probably play his best. Vancouver has Trevor Linden in which Kane respects him the most in the NHL and always listens to him and Canucks staff are very good with disciplines. Plus the Sedin's leadership will make him mature a bit. He won't be learning any of these in Winnipeg other than taking penalties and crosscheck anyone whose in sight |

I wouldn't even offer that. Mathias, Hansen and Kassian. Is it enough? Probably not. - Bieksa#3
I wouldn't offer The first, Horvat Virtanen or McCann.
I would go Lack Kassian Jensen and 2 second round picks.
Trade Matthias Richardson and Higgins all for second rounders |

If they got kane, id hope they keep kassian, (depending on devolopment) imagine kane and virtanen on the same line then have kassian on line 3 and dorsett on line 4 would actually be entertaining to watch and not all soft lines, except sedins.
And i think Gaunce, Higgins, Hansen, and a second should get it done. I mean the way things are going itll be a top 50 pick. And salaries wouldnt be to far off that way - phyllee
This is why I hope they'd keep Kassian around as well if this were to happen, I feel like he's the type of player who would be more physical if the team around him was. Add Kane and Virtanen next year and I bet he'd mix it up more often instead of trying to be Henrik Sedin.
My money is still on Kane going elsewhere.

I know that's why it's fun reading rumors! But I think Vancouver should run for Home Boy Kane! - jimboscore1

Neither would I! Horvat McCann Demko and Virtanen are the only kids we have going forward that resemble higher-end prospects. |

Stamkos had a surgery. Look at him now - BeatStriker
Yes, and some players also aren't as good after surgery. you guys aren't disproving my point at all. If you want to prove that players are as good post surgery then find every surgery ever in NHL(look last 10 years) and verify that every player that has ever had a surgery has been 100% what they were afterwards. My point is that he won't be guaranteed to be as good after surgery than he was before. So is not worth an over payment. |

If going by my previous offer of Gaunce, Hansen, Higgins and a second for Kane, and instead of higgins for a second add lack to that, next year still have three second round draft picks and the lines could be
Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata
Kane-Horat-Virtanen
Burrows/Jensen-Bonino-Kassian
Kenins/Shink-Vey-Dorsett
Edler-Tanev
Hammer-Corrado
Sbisa-Bieksa/Clendening
Miller/Markstrom
Thatd be nice, and entertaining, wishful thinking though |

I imagine that if Winnipeg is trading him this season they are going to want someone who can help this season and in the playoffs. Unfortunately the only player the Canucks have that could potentially provide scoring and playoff experience is Burrows. I really doubt that Burrows with his contract, age, production is attractive to the Jets and I'm not sure he is waiving for the jets.
Lots of teams can offer a top 6 roster player for him who won't make the playoffs anyways. I wonder if a ROR for Kane would work for both teams, the avs are likely going to miss the playoffs. I don't know if the Jets would want to gamble on resigning ROR but I can see a move like that more likely than anything the nucks can offer. |

And on it goes, at some point it's not worth the aggravation, just let go. For the obscurity of the internet and this being a (frank)ING RUMOUR SITE, who cares who said what.
Here I've got one, Kassian is a locker room distraction, openly plays with himself while trying to entice Burrows into joining, he's heard the french are kinky. But Burrows will have nothing to do with him because he's into swedish twins - Makita

How long has he been playing with the injured shoulder?
We are not talking about a major inury that had to be treated immediately from what I can recall. I haven't read too much on it to be honest. I'll assume it will be like any other injury of this type then...slow recovery...high % success...stronger shoulder...
Could result in a more dangerous shot. One thing for sure, the frequency of his hits suggest the injury wasn't holding him back on being physical. |

The avalanche are next inline for a wildcard, granted its with 1 or 2 games in hand, but there not gunna give up orielly unless it help them with there push, and they have alot of offence already they need defense so couldnt see them in on kane, especially when he wont be playing the rest of the season |

We can only hope that rumors of Kane wanting to play for Canucks is true. News like this would push away a lot of teams. |

@NHLhistorygirl: On this date in 1998, #Canucks traded Trevor Linden to #Isles for Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan McCabe and 1998 3rd round pick (Jarkko Ruutu)

Only thing is Jensen...with our time invested we may want to give him a legit shot here. Then again that's what was said about Schneider too after investing 4+ years in his development...
