anecdotal evidence does not mean that it is real evidence. people get sucked in with the allure of these "magical treatments." and it even captures people with money and brains. research what regrets steve jobs had about his cancer treatment.

these are serious issues and for you to casually recommend treatment, when even you acknowledge that you have no expertise/knowledge is reckless, therefore, you, sir, are a moron.

I don't think it is irresponsible for him to mention something that may or may not improve a person's wellness. He didn't suggest that the person stop taking conventional treatment, merely opened another avenue for the person concerned to look into. By no means did he sell it as an absolute or imply that he knew anything concrete so I don't think you're being fair and it seems as if your prior opinion of him is influencing your reaction.

I've heard that it helps with the symptoms and recently have heard some people say it can battle it but really I wouldn't hope for much more than improved quality of life. There is lots of anecdotal evidence for other things as well like specific diets so it really seems to be a mixed bag

Jensen would be better than Higgins. He's a dead weight on every line he plays on. I guess his defensive reliability is why he's in the lineup, but he needs to bring something at the other end of the ice to garner 2nd or 3rd line minutes.

The Canadian medical system is crap, it might be free but it's crap. If you get cancer, go to the states and pay for the 5 star treatment. In Canada you are just a number and the system will let you die because that's how our medical system is designed.

Nobody likes Chemo.

It eradicates cells without discrepancy. In essence, you poison the cancer out of your body.

It's not a pleasant treatment whatsoever but it is by far the most effective treatment to date. Chemo has also made huge strides over the years, becoming more effective.

Two things you may want to look at for your mom. North American medicine sucks when it comes to cancer. I have been hearing a lot of good things about the oil THC I think it is called (Marwoods would know what it is called). Anyways it is suppose to be much more helpful than Kimmo. The Government can't approve it though for image reasons I guess. I am not an expert at all on this but have heard good things

Also I use Chinese Medicine. I find it so much better than regular doctors. They do treat cancer with accupunture. Before poo pooing it. I have had many good experiences where lung XRays and blood tests showed nothing.

I also have many friends that use it.

My Mom is currently using something called "Rick Simpson oil" I have three friends who have used it to help with their own cancer and all three are in remission. Read up alot of stuff about it on the internet. And some doctors just say its fukking amazing.

I've read that our bodies actually have cannabanoid type cells and feeding them with Cannabis helps the body.
