It would probably be best if the Sedins just retired early. No way are they going waive to be traded to a cellar dweller or is a contender going to have the cap space to bring them on board for one last run at the cup.

I don't for a second think they will be traded. IMO they'll retire as Canucks. If the stars do line up perfectly during their last season here however then by all means do it with their blessing.

I think it would have to be a frustrating, disappointing season for them to consider waiving and the team they would consider would have to have some Swedes and a certain level of skill and style of play.

And for as long as they are Canucks, I think at worst the Canucks are a bubble team.
