Don't quote me on this, but I heard the sun is hot. In other words, how is being less effective playing away from one of best players in the NHL the last several seasons anything but stating the obvious?

Most of us have weighed in as to whether Couturier could be that 2nd line center, or if the team would be better off in the long run with a 2nd line guy who isn't currently on the roster, and having Couturier in the 3rd center slot. The whole defensive zone starts has been debated ad nauseam, and either way there is some merit to it.

What is your personal opinion? Based on what you have seen, if you were Hextall/Berube would you plan your roster with Couturier in the 2nd or 3rd line center spot?

Assign whatever number you want to Couturier's line, his icetime total at ES is second only to Giroux among centers the last two seasons. Couturier is already this team's "2nd line" center.

With them being only 5 pts out o the wild card I could definitely see them making a move for defensive help. Sadly, because of the cap issues for both teams, I doubt they look to the flyers for defensive help

Not at all..The Flyers will not win a cup because of Rinaldo though given his reckless play he could certainly cost them..

Maybe hate is too strong a word but most here could give you several reasons why his roster spot would be better served with someone else in its place.
