Does the grading significantly increase value? Most items I have are autographs I acquired personally. - Feds91Stammer
Spend the money to get them graded. You can get the card and auto graded or just the auto DNA graded. It adds more value to the card as the buyer knows it isn't a fake. |

It just astounds me with the passion that some people defend Tyler Myers or anyone else on this current team besides Girgensons.
We've seen a large body of his work going back six years and his defenders always go back to only his rookie year and think he's going to consistently play like that again offensively.
He had other good players to play with in the past and he played awful. Many of his defenders think he is having a turn around year this year and perhaps now he isn't playing lost but he is not playing very well on a lot of nights. He has trouble completing a forward pass, he had one of his better games in weeks in that respect last night, he is a non factor on the PP, he is weak in the defensive corners but he is given unconditional love by some. I don't get it.
I'm not sure if fans actually like how he plays now or are in fear of what he might become somewhere else. I have to think it's the later and if that is the case I think we can let go of the Chara fears. |

Yandle is gonna cost as much if not more to get IMO. - dadeadhead
Also why teams haven't made a move on him. Difference is the yotes have more of a need to move him then buffalo does myers. |

Correct, honestly surprised he hasn't been moved yet either. |

Closer to the deadline? See if they can get max return. |

Eric Stephens of OC Register: Trade rumors are circling the Ducks, with talk of Sabres Tyler Myers. Myers is under contract until 2019, and would be a more of a long-term solution compared to potential rentals in Cody Franson, Jeff Petry, Marc Methot or Andrej Sekera. Ducks GM Bob Murray is scouting in Europe. Hampus Lindholm or Sami Vatanen wouldn’t be apart of any Myers deal. The Ducks denied Renaud Lavoie’s report of Cam Fowler. Stephens wonders if Shea Theodore and one of their young forwards or their first round pick would be in play. |

Yeah. Contenders have injuries come up. Plus bidding wars. |

He is far and away the best defensemen this team currently has. It even even a close 2nd yet. Until Risto/Zads prove they are top pairing material it's foolish to consider them ahead of him |

What about St Louis 1st, Stewart and either Hurley or Grigerenko for Kane? |

What are the Ducks going to do? Confirm they're trying to trade one of their players by name? |

I'd prefer this too but wasn't sure if would be enough. Haven't paid much attention to Hurley's development. Wasn't in camp this year etc. I know he's a high 2nd round pick so he's obviously got enough potential but I don't know how teams value him. |

Myers is like Dion Phaneuf or Jay Boumeester in Calgary.
Ridiculously criticized because they aren't Norris winners on bad teams. Even though they would play on a top pair on almost any team in hockey.
No one is calling Myers great, and Myers will never be great on this currently constructed team |

Well, it's laughable to defend the guy as passionately as you do in my opinion. But if you really like the guy, then that's what being a fan is all about but I think you are still seeing him as if he was playing in his rookie year.
It's foolish to consider him currently playing very special even if he is the Sabres best defenseman considering how weak and young the D corp is. Congrats he's better than Tyson Strachan, he's battling two rookies to stay #1 and an aging Josh Gorges. |

GilPerreault's criticism was fair. Last night he played decent but also was pretty dumb on their second goal. Some good stuff, some bad. Should that be the assessment for a sixth year pro with his talent? |

I think you'd realize very, very quickly what a huge hole would be left if he gets traded. Look at Campbell. When he was traded at the time it was a huge loss. He's not the top D he was when he was traded to Chicago but it still hurt us a lot. Even when Myers was hurt his production is missing. Not crazy about trading him unless its overpayment.

That 2nd goal was 100% on Strachan. He threw it up the boards right to a Dallas Star while our forwards were in the neutral zone. |
