The Sabres will never get Toffoli for our junk and a 6 or 7th Dman even if we take on Richards' contract by giving them Hodgson's contract

Why can't he do it this year ? I think it's the fall from the "IT" guy on the team. After Pommer and Van where gone he was stated as the #1 center. He lost it to Nolans fav . Bad tude by his part if thats the real reason.

Moulson produces with a great center, we'll see if he does without one, still waiting.. and he is getting up there in age so 5 million a year's main purpose was to suck up needed salary space. Fowler is a a solid dman who there was reportedly another player involved and I think you are selling Fowler short. He would probably add something to the PP because Myers doesn't.

I think Stafford would fit in well with the Islanders.
