Who are the replacements for next season ?

Moulson produces with a great center, we'll see if he does without one, still waiting.. and he is getting up there in age so 5 million a year's main purpose was to suck up needed salary space. Fowler is a a solid dman who there was reportedly another player involved and I think you are selling Fowler short. He would probably add something to the PP because Myers doesn't.

All too young to help this team. We do need some vets. Staff isn't doing it. Thought he could at the beginning of the season. He has failed .

I did say that, but they aren't looking to get 2 years contracts, did you bother to listen to Murray last week? they don't want to pick in the top 3 next year they want to compete. So why just sign someone for 2 years if they want to change the team next year and make it better.

I'm not one of those "Myers needs to punch someone in the face" people, but if you're going to go after a guy, throw some punches, don't just ragdoll him to the ice and then stand there.

True, but everything about that response just seemed incredibly underwhelming to me. It's not even a "Myers needs to be meaner" comment. It's more of a "what the hell was the point" comment.

I'm not saying Armia is the savior or the next big thing. If they can move him for a very good player then go for it but lets not pretend he's some 4th line nhler.

I see no star power at the forward position. 5m is what your gonna
get in a player like Moulson.

The correlation is, Karlsson plays/played on a team with pretty pitiful offensive stats, too. So, stop making excuses for Myers.

He doesn't need a white knight to come and defend his honor everytime someone has a different opinion of him than you. The cat is good, yes. He's no (frank)ing Ray Bourque, Erik Karlsson or even Rob Blake. Heck, on the other end of the spectrum, he's no Rod Langway, Ken Morrow or Mike Ramsey, either.

Again, he's good. He's not great. He's not an all-star. He's no Olympian. Physically he's getting better, but he's no intimidator out there.

He's a nice package of skill, size and reach. What makes him desirable is that package (6'8", skates like he's 5'8"), but he's not untouchable, nor should he be.

If Murray receives an offer for Myers that will improve this team, he should take it.
