Larsson does nothing here when he gets called up, he 's an AHL player IMO. We need to rid ourselves of Stafford and Hodgson IMO, but when Ellis stays in the lineup and Hodgson get's scratched something is not right there and i'm not a Hodgson fan at all.

Exactly, that is what I meant by "useful". They can be key to helping us stay in 30th.

I'd take McQuaid or Soderberg for Stewart or keep Stewart.

There's a caveat here, though. He asked to be traded because he feels the Sabres don't really want any part of him. I'm not opposed to trading him, but I can't fault him for this either. The guy hasn't been put in the greatest position to perform, and in the short time he did perform, he was demoted with a couple guys that can't skate.

There was a point where he was the only one scoring. The one thing I can't stand what this team does, and they did it with Grigorenko, Reinhart, and Larsson, though to a lesser extent, is that they put him between two grinders with very little skill at all, and then say "see? He's not ready yet". It insults my intelligence to be honest. When Larsson did play with guys that had at least some talent, he looked okay.

They have cap issues so no, no they probably can't.
