It'll be interesting how motivates kass is on this trip.
I'd be happy with Chaisson out of ottawa - Bieksa#3
I wish he would play with reckless abandon every game. Letang bounced off him like he was a mosquito hitting a windshield after he scored. If he used his size and speed and played hard every game he would be near unstoppable.
This feeling of knowing we have decent prospects in our system is un settling. I'm just not used to it. - vancity787
hopefully in the off season cassels really works on that skating - maybe him and fox could partner up on it. Wonder if the canucks have their own skating guy/girl that they assign to prospects ? Would benefit those two, off the top of my head, huge.

McCann, Horvat and Gaunce could all stand to improve their skating.
Does it seem to anyone else that Bo is showing a bit more maturity and instead of trying not to be a defensive liability, he is showing some of his offensive game?

Still looks a step behind in terms of skating then many players - Bieksa#3
I don't see him falling down going into the corners or when there is a fight for a puck. Strong base, transition needs improvement. His speed has improved. His fluidity is good. I for one am fine with how is skating right now. He will only improve now that he is playing at the NHL level.

I still maintain it would be a big mistake to give up on Kassian. Power forwards don't grow on trees and they often take much longer to find consistency. Therefore that much more patience is required, in what is usually a much rockier road than when it comes to other types of players.
Is this the norm? Fukkin pisses me off. - vancity787
Yahoo also seems to lag behind somewhat. However, it's often the result of the teams not putting a player on Injured Reserve (given they have to reactivate a player once he's ready but then there is a delay period before that player can officially join the roster)
