Coach Ted Nolan is running out of options, but he hasn't given up on Cody Hodgson.

"I don't believe anybody's a lost cause," Nolan said. "It's just not working, for whatever reason. When you go through that you've got to do your own soul searching and find out what makes you work and fit in. ... You've got to find a way yourself. That's what I told our team. There aren't too many times people are going to come in and save you. You've got to find your own solutions." Hodgson has been scratched three times, his ice time and role on the depth chart has been reduced and he's had meeting with the coaches to go over his game. Nothing has helped him shake out of what has been a dismal season and he should be avoided until he shows some of the form he did last year when he had 20 goals and 44 points in 72 games.
