Not always, but you take some from a very few guys a little more seriously especially when they say in an interview they had heard from 3 different NHL executives the same thing, but hey, we are to close our eyes and block our ears all the time on a, ya know, rumor site.

All these GM's are all lieing through their teeth right now as good as politicians.

And they should be, unless the GM have talked to the player being rumored (request etc.) I am sure they are not going to go public and say hell yeah we wanna trade that guy or we have been shopping that guy.

Just think what you would get out of that player until he was traded, he might resemble Cody Hodgson.
