I liked what I saw out of Reinhart for sure. He dominated the way I was hoping he would. But I'm sure Eichel playing such a huge role for the US was part of what held him back as well. However, he's going to need to be that guy for whatever team ends up with him at the draft, so I just wish we had seen a bit more.

I wonder if the pressure of having to perform for McDavid and Eichel weighed on them in that tournament too. Reinhart has already been drafted. There is nothing for him to improve on.

That't the difference between the USA and Canadian programs though.

They have so much talent that a player like McDavid can take a back seat so to speak.

IMO it was an eye opening experience for Eichel and he learned some valuable lessons.

Again IMO the top tier college programs(ie BU) are equal to the Jr programs.

The refs seem to have it out for them tonight. The elbow Flynn just took the face went unnoticed. As did the high stick to Kaleta's face.

I disagree. I think it's significantly harder to play against a guy that is 6'4 and fills out his frame, rather than a guy that is 6'4 and 185. Just my opinion.

It won't be a one for one. Unless Murray is blown away for Myers, he's not going anywhere.

I honestly wish the Myers stuff would stop as I doubt he gets moved any time soon.

True. Well Seguin was 2010 I consider him a top 15-20 player in the league. Taveres was 2009 He's very good but I'd demand either McEichel to be better than him. 08 was Stamkos who is probably the last generational player drafted.

Kind of like for years I said Pominville needed to be on the half wall and not on the point on the pp.

Almost every time he slid over the puck was in the back of the net.
