You know what we 'cling' to?

The idea that every player has a set price, and that not a one of us in here is a GM of anything except a fantasy team. GMs see more than we do. You never know what a player can garner. We were laughed at for asking for a 1st for Goose. Then it happened. Then plenty of opposing fans had to eat a nice big slice of humble pie.

I have no idea what happens come trade deadline. David Perron just went for a first and a prospect. Stewart and Stafford kind of mirror his career.

I don't think either will get that kind of offer but who knows.

well its what started the domino's for the rebuild so we are gonna hang onto it for a bit..

I mean we got a 1st, 2nd, and Moulson for a UFA in Vanek.

We got a crap load for Miller and Pommer.

Pretty much every trade during the rebuild net us a good return.

Stewart is NOT going for anything less than a 2nd. Most likely a late 1st rounder.

That's good, it was a risk/reward trade that Snow misread, I didn't like it, but losing Vanek to gain Boychuk, Leddy, Kuli, Grabo, i'll do that trade again.....
