Taking off soon to go to @NBCSN. Is it possible Evander Kane is traded by time I land? No guarantees, of course, but BUF/WPG are hard at it.
and LeBrun also jumping on the bandwagon talking about the talks being heavy |

When I posted a couple days ago in this blog that " progress is being made " towards trading for Kane, the deal didn't have Myers or Lemieux in it. Seems like a lot IMO. - SABRES 89
Has there been a credible rumor that has them in it? I know it was kicked around last night - I thought it was just something someone made up. |

No one credible has named exact pieces. Our big assets have only been thrown around as possibilities. The only for sure piece has been Kane. |

I know it was Stafford, Armia and Psysk plus a pick but Myers wasn't in the deal. It seems it has changed. I guess we will see what happens from here. I didn't think the Jets wanted a D man in return to be honest. I didn't know anything about Myers and Lemieux going back in the deal. |

If Winnipeg gets a forward, they can move Buff back to defense and they wouldn't need Myers.
Stafford plus Armia and a pick for Kane.
I can't see the whole Myers/Bogo swap making sense |

Agreed. I'd keep Myers over Bogo.

Really confused how Lemieux has come up in trade rumors. Really hope TM isnt going to bail on him. Still expect a 1st, armia and staff/stew to be traded. Hoping they wont also go give up someone else like Compher or Fasching as those two will work real well together being good friends and potentially good players |

We saw last night the impact Myers can have on a team that has the puck and generates PP's. 4 shots on goal and a goal.
He can be an impact player. |

Yep, I've seen you and others post it a bunch recently about the physicality and the league being won on the shoulders of veterans moreso than the talented youngsters that a minor league system is supposed to be developing.
Hell, look at Rochester. Leading scorers for this team have trended towards non-NHL guys for a while. - stashu
The league is primarily composed of guys that are career AHL guys. They're the grinders that don't have quite enough talent to really force their way onto an NHL roster. Rochester's captain, Drew Bagnall, is the perfect example of that.
There are always a few standout young guys in the league, but they tend to not stick around there too long because of how young the overall rosters of the NHL have gotten. I think a large part of it has to do with the salary cap. Teams need the young talent up sooner to help balance things out because they come at a much cheaper price tag for a few years. |

The amateurs are posting (take with grain of salt) STL 1, Armia, Stewart for Kane. Yes or no. |

Yes.
The whole Myers - Bogo thing violates Murphy's Law of trades - which is the more complicated it gets, the less likely it is to happen. |

Absolutely. Writing is on the wall for Stewart, might as well package him for a younger more talented version of himself. |

Why not? You have to give something to get something. I'd bet that Armia is a better pro then Lemieux.
