I like how people call him a head case and stuff like they know him. The kid definitely has some growing up to do, but he performs on the ice when he's healthy. I guarantee his style of play would make him a fan favorite around here after only a handful of games.

As of yet, I don't know but maybe more later in the week. I found out last week they looked into Matt Belesky but IMO he's playing well due to the team he is. I think he would be an average player on the Sabres.

I know it's been talked about quite a bit but there isn't any reason that we couldn't get this thing turned around quickly. Winipeg needs help quickly and we easily have parts that could help them now and in the future. I could absolutely see a #1, Grigs and a UFA heading the other way.

For those of you that don't want Kane, I get it. The only way to get these guys is to buy low because there is no such thing as buying high as they aren't for sale at that point

Most felt after that trade that Snow was going to continue, but when it didn't happen, we all were mad after the fact bc it was a poor judgment but better player acquired. Snow at least has had a track record of mostly keeping players beyond after the play a majority of games, Vanek was the only 1 who left and we all know why..

I still liked that trade, just the fact nothing happened after is what blew up in snow's face.... The reason why I liked it was bc it added talent to roster and w/the kids on the way, was willing to take a risk, but even more happier that Vanek's money got spread out over the players acquired in this past off-season.

I get why he did it. Better player for less money. Both pending ufa's. Moulson already not committed to resign. Comming off a playoff season. In the end getting dacolle and hosang kinda makes up for losing this years first. Like you said it should have been 1 of a few moves. Any other year vanek would have commanded a handsome return. Colberg might be allright and that 2nd was used to get boydchuk.... Kk guess it wasn't as bad as I thought.

No it had something to do with the Myers stuff and the Ducks, but it didn't have that much to it so that's why I didn't bother much posting about it.

I think I would take a 2016 1st, if the 2015 1st is not available.

Might even take it over the 2015 because it would be a team that wants to go deep into the playoffs and if they fall on hard ground next year, the pick could increase in value. (to trade or use then, depending on the situations)
