How about Marazek?
- mayorofangrytown

That'd cost you a LOT more than Timmo, probably. Mrazek is supposed to be better than Howard according to a lot of people.

Lats night's injury looked like it could have happened when he walked out to the letterbox.
- Feanor

No doubt.. but I wonder how much of it has been lingering for weeks now, and that was just the "move" that pushed him over the edge. He's been dealing with his back injury(ies) for awhile now, but yet it keeps coming back (no pun intended) to haunt him. Makes me firmly believe that he has never healed. He might feel good for a game or two, but a back injury is nothing to snuff at... it can come and haunt you in a second, even if you're feeling really good.

How about Timonen plus the prototype for a time machine to take him back to when he was younger and healthier. Actually, no..... the Flyers would probably rather keep the time machine and put Timonen and Chris Pronger inside it

Gustavsson for Timmo.

I was thinking Lecavalier and Umberger for Mrazek and Mantha

Gustavsson would be an Emery clone anyway. Injury prone and inconsistent without a solid defense in from of him.

Well, injuries took a heavy toll on my role players. McGinn was a god send until his injury, and then Brad Richardson was great with faceoffs until he's on the IR.

That's my biggest concern, the future. Mason is a legit plus starter, if not slightly better. They need to keep him healthy.

If he's getting hurt by compensating for an existing injury, or playing despite an existing injury or even just having a run of bad luck with the rash of injuries, it's a concern. I think it's too much of a coincidence, the same leg, and Mason admitted to the press more drastic measures were considered.

This guy is a big piece moving forward. Got to weigh that over making a late, improbable run to a wildcard

Mason himself told the media that more "drastic" measures were considered when he first hurt the knee. I find it really hard to believe it's unrelated

As much as I want them to win, and I really do, I still would shut Mason down right the hell now

The guy is hurt. To whatever degree, I don't know, but he is hurt, and it is lingering or causing new injuries, so shut him down so he can get right

They could give him a lower number. There are plenty available.

Edit: I mean seriously there are like 70 numbers to choose from.
