With Bonino likely out with a broken foot, it sure would of been nice to have a guy like Schroeder available to call up. It still seems like a strange move that Benning didn't qualify him last year. I know that Jeffreys and O'Reilly are there but I'm not sure they are better options than him.

It' a young man's game, they have a compete level you won't find in older players, we need more youth end of story/

Did they ask him why it's taking this long? A lot of players drafted in the first 4 rounds who have solid post-draft years in junior usually get signed much quicker.

Again, fully expect him to be signed but was just curious.
