I dont understand why they put Jake in the box in this situation. Wouldn't you want him in a 4v4 situation? - PhillySportsGuy
I don't understand why BerubedoesntleaveGiroux out for the full 2 min on the PP.just like the Caps do with Ovie. The2nd PP has been horrid all year |

Agreed. Berube might think end of the penalty breakaway but try Brayden Schenn or Simmonds there. |

That wasn't a 4 vs 4 situation unless you are saying in case something else would have been called. - opeth_pa
Yes. I'm saying in case another penalty is called. Why not use someone like VL? |

I wouldn't be against using Voracek on the PK, either. |

Flyers are playing an amazing game. I don't think they're sitting back at all right for the past 5-10 mins they were in the opening shifts of the 3rd a bit though. |

I don't think they can afford to because they lack depth. They rely so heavily on G and Jake to score for them. They need to put him in scoring situations as much as possible. Teams like Anaheim and Chicago can afford to use their best forwards because they have so much depth. |

Well that was some quality defense.
Who was the Flyer that came sort of floating in from the circle at the end?
And this is where I wish we would have buried one of our 50 chances early on. |

Yep. I'll be shocked if they get out of this with any points. Playing much too conservatively and didn't bury their chances. |

I was moving more on the couch than Grossmann was on the ice. He literally stood there for a good 5-8 seconds and did nothing. |

Yup..Grossmann forgot to do anything but i just saw the replay and Couturier sort of wasnt doing much either.
Overall a really bad breakdown. |

all 5 guys were literally within 5 feet of one another and not one of them could get the puck.
i've been in that spot like emery on scramble...you reach for it...take yourself out of position and a skate squibs the puck to the one spot where there's an open man and he buries it. makes me so (frank)ing angry. |
