I don't care what anyone says, getting a road point tonight was amazing -- your backup goaltender comes into Montreal, against a really good team that is well-coached, and you leave with something to show for it?

A road point when the Panthers win means the club lost ground. 8 behind Boston sounds better, but 4 behind the Panthers. Panthers have 2 extra games and have 3 games against the Bruins which means 6 points minimum awarded to those 2 teams ahead of us. It's just so hard to make up ground.

dude this team sucks accept it and you'll be fine with losing to get a better player this season

i'll take the point as i was not expecting to win vs. MTL. just look at it as 1 loss and not 2 ot/shootout losses.

overall, i do see where youre coming from. definitely a lot of good things to take from the totality of the gameplay there. but at the same time, the end result is still pretty disappointing.

Besides, Boston may not have many more points, but they are SO much better than the Flyers, imho. Just haven't been playing up to their potential.

I think they've played better defensively and on the pk of late, but they're still too much dead weight. Vinny was terrible tonight. I think they've sacrificed some o for the d because they know they have to really help the d corps to have a chance.
